Reimagine Facilities

Forward-thinking faculty and students need responsive facilities to realize their potential. Nowhere is this more apparent than the SF State campus where the growth in enrollment, aging buildings and ever-increasing demand for the latest learning technology are driving appeals for leading-edge upgrades.

Bold. Thinking. provides an opportunity to invest in strategic capital initiatives that address the growing demand for facility renovation. Several major ventures are already underway, including the state-of-the-art Mashouf Wellness Center and the first phase of Holloway Village, a groundbreaking mixed residential and retail complex. Additional plans are in development for a long-awaited new Broadcast and Electronic Communication & Performing Arts Center, an Alumni & Visitors Center—featuring a University Art Museum as well as much-needed conference space, and a 12-story science complex advocated by faculty, students and industry alike, all of which will add to the transformation of SF State's campus.

Campaign investment will also allow us to modernize facilities for our athletics programs, which engage more students, alumni and parents, strengthen leadership development, ignite school spirit and raise SF State’s profile in the community.

“SF State students have ambition and drive. This campaign will deliver resources to help them

Being part of SF State’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program has been an incredible journey for me. My experience with student groups like the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality and the Hospitality Management Society gave me courage and confidence in my skills and abilities. Experiences like these have made me a leader.”
