Thank you!

The San Francisco State community could not be more grateful for your ongoing support, especially on behalf of our students!  Whether you contribute to the annual fund, scholarships, fundraising events for various programs, or to help maintain facilities, know that you and a growing family of thousands of other donors helped steer SF State successfully through the depths of the Great Recession.
Through increased private support and astute management, the university is now stronger than ever.  SF State is increasingly recognized nationally as a leading model for public higher education and well-positioned for a bright future.

Nonetheless, with the state covering only half of the university’s budget today, and tuition over 100% higher than just a few years ago, we will continue to rely on the generosity of our alumni, parents and friends.

We are deeply grateful for your generosity. Please consider creating a legacy at SF State by establishing a scholarship or fellowship which could be named for you or a company, or in honor or memory of someone special in your life.

Make a gift for SF State today. To discuss these and other options, including planned gifts, please contact the SF State Development Office at
