Nowhere is this more apparent than the SF State campus where the growth in enrollment, aging buildings, and ever-increasing demand for the latest learning technology are driving appeals for leading-edge upgrades.
BOLD Thinking provides an opportunity to invest in strategic capital initiatives that address the growing demand for a facility renovation. The University has embarked on several major ventures, including a new 75,000 square foot Liberal & Creative Arts Building which broke ground in the fall of 2018 and is slated for completion in 2020. Campaign investment also contributes to the modernization of facilities across many disciplines, including our cinema, science, business, library, and athletics programs.
These improvements ensure SF State’s ability to offer career-relevant training, engages more students, strengthen leadership development, ignite school spirit and raise SF State’s profile in the community. A comprehensive Campus Master Plan is underway, which will support the University’s academic mission and outlines our transformative vision toward a residential campus that is socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable.
