CNN: Professor Grace Yoo and her students, members of the Auntie Sewing Squad, sew masks for communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic

A volunteer 'sewing squad' distributed more than 55,000 masks to vulnerable communities in 3 months. They're not slowing down

Grace Yoo learned how to sew so she could help. Yoo, an Asian American studies professor at San Francisco State University, recruited her students to help as well. Nine students learned how to sew via Zoom.
