Soo Kim

Soo Kim joined San Francisco State University in 2024 as the Senior Director of Development for the College of Liberal & Creative Arts. Prior to SFSU, Soo served at Swords to Plowshares as the Assistant Director of Fund Management and Communications, where she worked closely with corporate and individual donors to secure critical funds for underserved veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her career also includes positions in various schools and museums in the United States and abroad, where she held roles in both faculty and administrative capacities. 

Soo holds a B.A. in history from Pomona College, a Master of Arts and Ph.D. candidacy in Art History from UC Berkeley and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from University of San Francisco’s School of Management.
