The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) can help you secure funding from foundations and corporations. The CFR staff will meet with you to learn about your work and determine whether your project is a potential match for corporate or foundation funding.
We conduct research and work with our contacts to find funders that may be interested in your project. If we find a potential match, or if you have already identified a potential funder, we:
-
Assist you in preparing concept papers, letters of intent, and proposals, including:
° Helping you refine your project ideas.
° Providing strategies for developing your proposal or letter of intent.
° Editing your proposals. -
Work closely with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) and The University Corporation (UCorp) to ensure a smooth submission process.
After obtaining a grant, we work with you to further develop your relationships with funders and provide effective stewardship.
