The Institute for Wine, Food, and Restaurant Management will establish the region’s only current entity to coordinate education, research, and applied to learn across the fine food, restaurant, and wine industries. The Institute will feature a wine auditorium and restaurant and will prepare students for careers in the Bay Area and beyond.
SF State’s Hospitality, Tourism, and Management department is the largest in northern California yet has a small number of partnerships engaging the region’s landmark restaurants and wineries, and hotels.
